A few photos from a few weekends ago when we stopped breifly in Bruges on our hitch to Amsterdam from Zebrugge. The little cobbled streets of Bruges were positively enchanting & it inhabitants incomparably chic & sophisticated (yet, still willing to help students hitch to holland).On our journey from Bruges to Gent we were driven by a fantastic couple who must have been in their early fourties, fantastically chic, who told us all about Gent & Antwerp as centres of culture, fashion & art. I cannot wait to be living in France, there is something so fantastic about the ease with which one feels connected to different cities in central europe.
