The party was glorius. With a paddling pool filled with balls & balloons & a room of circus toys!

As the invite wrote: WE ARE OLD, THE CIRCUS IS YOUNG, and I cannot think of a better way to bring in our twentieth year.

The highlight was perhaps waking to find a male in a dress and fishnets asleep in the child's play tunnel in the basement. Only at the Circus.

A mix between the kills & sultry synth pop beats. CHEW LiPS are a band you simply must look into. Despite their 'london club kid attitude' look, they are not all looks & 15 shows in are already creating quite the stir.

Waiting. I usually can't stand to wait, but the crisp icy wind & the skeletal trees in Leeds at this time of year call for a delicously content pace of life, sipping apple and ginger tea & spending day upon day finding beautiful things to occupy your time, whilst the new term creeps nearer. If you are at a loss for treats for the eye, I suggest: Wendy Bevan (a photograph taken above) for her ethereal, old era glamorous photographs, which feel like a mysterious misty morning in love.
